| Dominated by rugged sandstone cliffs that seem to go on forever, Bunurong Marine and Coastal Park is the perfect place for a stroll along the cliff tops no matter what the weather conditions. | ![]() |
The day I visited was truly wild and windy, and not really the best day to head off on a photo shoot, but free time on a Saturday doesn't come along that often. Even so, the Park is still starkly beautiful, and the sounds of the sea even more evocative. |

| The Bunurong Marine and Coastal Park
stretches along the coast
from Harmers Haven to Inverloch.
The Park is easily accessed by car, and points of interest are only a short walk from the car park, making this area perfect for those with limited mobility. |

| The tea-tree trails are like tunnels and offered wonderful protection from the howling wind and rain. |
|
| As you follow the trail along the
headland the tea-tree tunnels open onto breathtaking observation points. Many of these beaches are not suitable for swimming. Through the summer months Inverloch and Cape Patterson beaches are patrolled by surf lifesavers. |
