Prom Mill Cottages are situated less
than 5 minutes from the entrance to the internationally renowned
Wilsons Promontory National Park.
Prom Mill Cottages consists of 3
fully self-contained Australian country-style cottages, each with
their own shady verandahs, and are located on a quiet country lane,
off the main Promontory Road.
The property is private and
secluded and is surrounded by maturing trees, with native gardens,
an enclosed playground for children and plenty of room to move.
Darby Cottage
(One Bedroom)
Built in
September 1999, Darby Cottage is ideal for couples, with one
bedroom, open-plan living area, comfortable furnishings, a
well-appointed kitchen and bathroom and wood heating.
Darby Cottage features polished floorboards,
exposed beam ceilings and traditional timber dado walls.
The Cottage is also equipped with ceiling
fans, a colour television, a DVD and cassette player with AM/FM radio,
and plenty of books and games.
The kitchen has an electric stove with oven
and
hotplates, a microwave, a compact refrigerator, an electric kettle
and a toaster, with all crockery, cutlery, glassware and cooking
utensils supplied.
The bedroom has
a queen-size bed with an electric blanket and all linen, bedding
and pillows supplied.
The bathroom is fitted
with a bath, shower, basin and toilet, and all towels
are provided.
Outside there is a barbecue
and an
outdoor dining area, a private driveway with parking at the rear of
the Cottage.

Cottage (Two Bedroom)
Millar Cottage
was built in December 2001 and sleeps up to five people, making it
the perfect place to stay for a family or a small group of friends.
Millar Cottage is named after one of the Yanakie district's early
settlers, William Millar.
Millar Cottage features
polished timber floors, two separate bedrooms and a spacious lounge
and dining area, with a wood heater, inviting sofas, a colour
television and a DVD player.
The kitchen is equipped with
gas hotplates, a microwave, a toaster oven, a refrigerator, an
electric toaster and kettle, and all crockery, cutlery, glassware
and cooking utensils.
The bathroom is fitted with a
bath and shower, while the laundry has an automatic washing machine.
Millar Cottage's main bedroom
has a queen-size bed, while the second bedroom is furnished with one
set of bunk beds and a single bed. Both bedrooms have wardrobes, and
all bedding, linen and towels are supplied.
Outside is a playground, a
barbecue and an outdoor
dining area, a carport and a clothes line at the back of the
Cottage, and a
large veranda along the front.

Cottage (Three Bedroom)
Built in September 2002, Oberon Cottage has three separate bedrooms and sleeps up to six
people, making it suitable for larger families and groups of
friends.
Oberon Cottage features polished timber floorboards and dado wall
panelling, a light and airy open-plan living area and a reverse
cycle air conditioner.
The
centrally-placed kitchen has gas
hotplates, a microwave, a toaster oven, a large refrigerator, an electric toaster
and
kettle, with all crockery, cutlery, glassware and cooking utensils
supplied.
The three bedrooms have
picture windows and built-in wardrobes robes.
Two of the bedrooms are furnished
with queen-size beds, while the third bedroom has two single beds.
All linen, bedding and towels are
provided.
The bathroom is fitted
with a bath, shower and hand basin. Just down the hall is a separate
toilet as well as a laundry with an automatic washing machine.
Outside Oberon Cottage is an enclosed
playground, a barbecue and an outdoor
dining area, along with a carport and clothes line at the rear of
the Cottage and a
