Hillcrest Cottage at Sandy Point is great place to stay for a family or for a group of up to six friends.
Set in lush, terraced gardens and only a short stroll from Sandy Point’s renowned ocean beach, a well-provisioned general store and a café, Hillcrest Cottage offers visitors spacious, comfortable accommodation.
The Cottage features a bright, airy feel, with an expansive verandah overlooking the front garden, where both native and exotic plants flourish.

A wide hatch overlooks an open plan dining and living space, furnished with a blond wood table and chairs, a pair of couches, a colour television, a DVD player, a CD player and radio, a reverse-cycle air conditioner, a wood heater and some books and games.

The large, fully equipped kitchen includes a double sink, an electric stove, a microwave oven, a dishwasher, a refrigerator with a separate freezer, and all crockery, cutlery, glassware and cooking utensils.

There are two bedrooms; one with a queen-size bed and the other with two singles, as well as a family room with a sofa that converts to a double bed. All bedding and bed linen are supplied, however guests are to bring their own bath and beach towels.

The sky-lit bathroom includes a full-size bath, a shower cubicle and a hand basin, with a separate toilet.

In the laundry are an automatic washing machine, clothes dryer an iron and ironing board, and a high chair for younger travellers.

Outside are a barbecue and outdoor furniture, a bird feeder and a carport at the top of a gravelled driveway.

There is a telephone available at the house for incoming calls, local calls and internet.
