Birrahlea Beach House is a three-bedroom
seaside holiday retreat located right in the
heart of Waratah Bay. A peaceful coastal hamlet, Waratah Bay is renowned
for its magnificent ocean beach and the breathtaking views of Wilsons
Promontory to be seen away to the south-west.
Birrahlea is just a couple of minutes' walk from the
beach, and is ideal for families and groups of up to nine people.

Birrahlea has a large lounge room
features polished timber floors, leather lounge suite. There's a
colour television, a video-recorder, and a CD-player and cassette deck.
Birrahlea's kitchen
is brand new with a large modern oven with griller
and glass stove-top.
It also boasts a microwave, a toaster oven, and a
large refrigerator. A drinks fridge
is also supplied.
The kitchen is equipped with all manner of crockery, cutlery,
glassware and cooking utensils, as well as a tea set
and coffee plunger.
There's also a table and chairs for six, and table-cloths, napkins and
tea-towels are provided for guests' use.

Relax on the front verandah and admire the friendly
rosellas that fly in to visit, especially if there's a chance of something
to eat!
Look out for the koalas, which may often
seen sitting in the trees nearby.

The sunny games room can be transformed into a fourth
bedroom if needed.
Birrahlea has a great selection of indoor games,
including draughts, chess, cards, backgammon, dominoes, Monopoly, Scrabble,
jigsaw puzzles, Scattegories and Uno.

Birrahlea has two double beds, one bunk bed, two single beds and a
trundle bed to accommodate up to nine people.
The trundle bed can be joined with
a single bed to create a third double bed if required.
Doonas with covers, pillows,
mattress- and pillow-protectors, along with spare blankets, are supplied.
Please bring all of your own bed-linen, including
pillow-cases, plus bath- and beach-towels. |

The bedrooms are equipped with clock radios and bedside
lamps, and there's plenty of storage space, too.
The combined bathroom and laundry has a modem vanity unit,
a mirror, a shower cubicle and a separate toilet. An automatic washing machine is
also provided.
Birrahlea has an electric fan as well as gas-heating to ensure guests' comfort all year 'round.

Outside, guests will find a covered carport, a gas barbecue
and an outdoor setting.
The front verandah, with its table and chairs, is
perfect for watching the world go by and for keeping safely out of the way
of front-lawn games of tennis or cricket.
Waratah Bay has something to appeal to the whole
family; swimming, surfing, strolling along the
beach, throwing in a fishing line, playing on the sand.
Or explore the walking tracks of Liptrap Coastal Park,
with its stands of native tea-tree, banksia
and she-oak, which lies just to the west of Waratah Bay hamlet.
